AMC theater in Riverside adds an IMAX screen
By the time James Cameron 's 3D film "Avatar" debuts on movie theater screens Dec. 18, fans in auditorium No. 1 at the AMC Tyler 16 in Riverside will have an up-close experience, for an extra price. The auditorium has been retrofitted with an IMAX screen, curved and positioned closer to the audience, and an audio system to match, said AMC spokesman Justin Scott.
